Project supports the Brand Emissions Leaders Project

One of the largest attempts to evaluate the carbon performance of brands will be launched in November, 2009. The Brand Emissions Leaders Project is sponsored by Marketing magazine and aims to recognise the brands that are most successful at managing carbon emissions. The Carbon Benchmarking Project is supporting the research and analysis for the Brand Emissions Leaders Project.

ENDS Carbon and the Carbon Benchmarking Project launch Supermarkets Carbon Benchmark

The first benchmark report produced by the Carbon Benchmarking Project has been published. The report, supported by Asda, M&S, Tesco and Waitrose reveals significant differences in the carbon performance of companies. Haymarket Media Group invests in Project spin-out

Carbon KPI Ltd., the spin-out company created by Carbon Benchmarking Project director, Craig Mackenzie, has received a major investment by Haymarket Media Group. This investment will allow the company to grow substantially in the next 12 months, rolling out a programme of sector benchmarks and public carbon ratings. The spin-out will now be known as ENDS Carbon and will operate alongside the ENDS Report, the leading environmental journal owned by Haymarket. ENDS Carbon will remain based at Edinburgh University Business School.
